For 'His Dark Materials' I was hired as a freelancer to assist the Research & Development of new and unique ways to record pre-vis VFX using a VR headset (HTC Vive) and a game engine (Unreal Engine 4).
Using 3D models created by studio artists and CGI Shots from studio animators, I would implement these into a UE4 environment I would have created using a storyboard and the assets provided. I would make sure this scene would run the correct way the animators intended which could then be viewed by a director.
